The Vaiava necklace is made from a double thin leather cord, delicately adorned with Tahiti Keshi pearls. The pearls can move along the cord, allowing you to style it as you wish.
At its center, an Abalone shell, or Haliotis shell ; called ‘Apitahi’ or ‘Tari’atai’ in Tahitian ; catches the light like a calm water surface. This nacreous shell, collected from our Polynesian beaches, reveals unique shades: green, blue, pink, or lighter tones depending on the find. Each shell is different, naturally shaped by the sea.
